Business Tips: Ways to Use Google to Find Wholesalers

When you first go online, odds are that your first stop is the most popular website in the world: Google.Now there are three ways for you to use google to find China wholesalers.


1. Search Extensively: China Wholesalers and drop shippers are notoriously bad at SEO and marketing, and usually aren't going to pop up on the first page of Google for a term like “handbag wholesaler.” Instead, you'll need to dig deep into the search results, often going through 10 or 20 pages of listings.


2. Don't Judge by the Cover: China Suppliers also tend to have outdated, late ‘90s-era websites. So don't be scared away by abysmal design and layout. While a sleek, modern site could signal a great supplier, a low-quality one doesn't necessarily indicate a bad one.


3. Use Lots of Modifiers: As you hunt for China suppliers, don’t stop with a search for “wholesale” - make sure to use other modifier terms, including “distributor” , “reseller” , “bulk” , “warehouse” and “supplier.”


Conduct Google searches for the words "wholesale" or "distributor" plus some keywords from your products. Try product names, model numbers,brand names and country names. For example:

<product, model name, brand> distributor
China wholesale,China distributor
Go through each result and look for the "wholesale account" link or an email address or phone number where you can get more information.


At this point, and depending on your industry, you may have seen several distributors with similar names. It's helpful to keep a spreadsheet of potential wholesaler suppliers, their prices and minimum requirements, your contact history with them (do you have a wholesale account already or have you not contacted them yet?), etc. After a while, they all start to sound alike.
